Your evening begins as your guide collects you and heads away from the villages and artificial light into the surrounding wilderness. Depending on the weather and aurora forecast, the route may change throughout the night in search of the clearest skies.
Once a suitable location is found, settle into the stillness of the Arctic landscape while your guide shares stories about the aurora, the region and life in the north. On clear nights, the first signs may appear as a faint glow before developing into ribbons of green moving across the sky.
Warm drinks and time around the fire add to the experience, while your guide can also help capture the moment on camera.
